Joshua Kenneth Heupel (/ ˈ h aɪ p əl / HYPE-əl; born March 22, 1978) is an American college football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Tennessee. Previously he was head coach at the University of Central Florida , where he compiled a 28–8 record.
