Betty Lou Beets (March 12, 1937 – February 24, 2000) was a murderer executed in the U.S. state of Texas. She was convicted of shooting her fifth husband, Jimmy Don Beets, on August 6, 1983.

Despite her argument, Betty was found guilty for the murder of Beets and was sentenced to death. Because she had already received the death penalty she was never tried for the murder of Baker. In February 2000, at the age of 62, Betty Lou Beets was put to death by lethal injection in Texas’ Huntsville Unit.
