Timely Comics fu una casa editrice di fumetti statunitense fondata a New York nel 1939 da Martin Goodman. Successivamente cambiò il nome in Atlas Comics e, infine, in Marvel Comics. 8 mar 2018 · Nell’insieme dei fumetti pubblicati da Goodman, il nome Timely Comics compare in copertina solo per un breve periodo tra luglio 1942 e settembre 1942, e neppure su tutti gli albi usciti in quel lasso di tempo. Un logo Atlas è poi comparso su diversi albi nel periodo fine 1943 e inizio 1944.
9 giu 2020 · Nel 1967 la Timely, diventata intanto Atlas, cambiò il proprio nome con quello della celebre rivista che le diede lustro: Marvel Comics. Il resto è storia. 80 anni da assoluta leggenda con all’attivo fiumi d’inchiostro e un universo cinematografico che ha rinnovato totalmente il settore dei blockbuster.
