The Driller Killer è un film horror del 1979 diretto e interpretato da Abel Ferrara. Primo lungometraggio del regista dopo il porno 9 Lives of a Wet Pussy del 1976, il film segue la progressiva discesa nella follia di un pittore che inizia ad uccidere disadattati e senzatetto usando un trapano elettrico come arma.
Si tratta del primo film di Abel Ferrara che recita sotto il nome di Jimmy Lane. Un pittore spiantato e incompreso scopre che la sua fidanzata ha un rapporto con una donna. Nel mezzo di una crisi di nervi, coi vicini di casa rumorosi, comincia a fare strage di straccioni con un trapano elettrico.
