Curry (Cheung) and Pepper (Chow) are two easy-going C.I.D. policemen who are also the best of friends. When they are selected by a female reporter (Bridgewater) as the subjects of her fly-on-the-wall documentary, their lives receive something of a shake-up.
Curry & Pepper are two CID detectives who "don't play by the rules" or take their jobs very seriously. Dimply journalist Mimi decides to do a "day in the life" special on the police, and picks these two as her desired subjects - to the consternation of their superior.
7/10. Surprisingly fun and funny buddy cop film, albeit a slap-happy bloody mess. tntokmenko 21 January 2013. Absent of a progressive plot and decent soundtrack, Curry & Pepper still manages to shine with the good performances from Stephen Chow and Jacky Cheung.
