The Dramatist aired on TV3 on 3 March 2013, with Priest debuting a week later. Filming for Shot Down, the sixth episode of the series, and billed as the season one finale, began on 7 June 2013. The film is based on Bruen's novel The Killing of the Tinkers.
Synopsis. Iain Glen returns, playing troubled ex-cop Jack Taylor, who’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. In the first of three, feature length films, adapted from Ken Bruen’s best-selling crime novels, Jack’s interest is aroused when a young student falls to hear death from a university roof. Traces of Morphine are found in her blood.
Private investigator Jack Taylor takes on a case about the suspicious death of a theater student and seeks the help of former colleagues, Cody and Kate, to search for clues.
