Allein am Strand, trifft sie auf ein gestrandetes Boot afrikanischer Flüchtlinge, viele von ihnen tot, die anderen halb verdurstet. Darunter auch Zola (Hubert Koundé) und sein ohnmächtiger Sohn Mamadou.
