The film is yet another adaptation of Dina Rubina’s novel in Yevgeny Mironov’s filmography. Yevgeny Mironov serves as a producer and art director of the film, as well as plays the leading role of Pyotr Uksusov. His character Petya has been obsessed with puppet theatre since early childhood. He is also infatuated with the girl Liza.
