Our Son, the Matchmaker plot. When Julie Longwell (Ann Jillian) was 15 years old, as a wealthy upper-class girl, she fell in love with a boy from a lower social class. When Julie became pregnant with the boy, her mother intervened and gave the baby up for adoption.
