24 ago 2016 · NIGHT CRIES – a story of a white woman and her adopted Aboriginal daughter, told with vibrantly coloured landscapes and a richly constructed soundscape. The film is in part a response by visual artist Tracey Moffatt to Charles Chauvel's celebrated feature film, JEDDA (1955).
A fantastic, intriguing, made-for-television movie with both horror and sci-fi elements, and a central mystery that actually turns out to be two different ones. Susan Saint James plays Jeannie Haskins, who is told shortly after giving birth that her baby has died.
