A Vietnam veteran decides to return to the place where he once fought. In everyday life he has become a priest and there is little of his old 'me' left. Once in Vietnam, he is forced by an old comrade to relive the bloody fights and battlefields.

The Veteran is a gripping and intense thriller that explores the psychological trauma that many veterans suffer from after returning from war. The film does an excellent job of depicting the ways in which war can damage a person's psyche and leave them struggling to adapt to life back home.
