by Laura Chiossone. synopsis. Simona is a single mother who lives for her son Filippo. While organizing his eighth birthday party, she faces the anxiety of getting everything right. At the party an unexpected performance by Filippo breaks the mold and triggers a domino effect of actions and reactions that bring the party to derail.

While both parents and children arrive at the party, we start composing a very diverse array of people with very different views, and while the children play in the living room, the adults in the kitchen pleasantly hate each other.
Simona is a single mother in her early ‘40s who is wholly devoted to her son, Filippo. To get over her insecurities as a parent and make her son happy on his eighth birthday, she decides to throw him a birthday party in their small flat and invite over his school friends and their parents.
