Trama. A Parigi, Joan, una ballerina che lavora come danzatrice apache in un locale notturno, conosce Paul Dubois, uno scultore da cui la divide un abisso sociale perché lui appartiene a una famiglia aristocratica mentre lei è nata e vive nei bassifondi.
