Count Aleksander Stanisław Potocki (Polish pronunciation: [pɔˈtɔt͡skʲi], 1778–1845) was a Polish noble, landowner and politician. He was the senator-castellan of the Polish Kingdom in 1824 and chamberlain of Napoleon I. He was awarded Order of the White Eagle on 24 May 1829.
Aleksander Potocki (1776-1845) – as a young man forced to emigrate and after the second partition of Poland resided in Dresden, Leipzig and Carlsbad. During his stay in England in 1802-1803 became interested in architecture and, first and foremost, palaces and gardens.
The children of his son Aleksander (~1167) castelan of Sandomierz, were progenitors of new noble families such as the Moskorzewski, Stanisławski, Tworowski, Borowski, and Stosłowski. Jakub Potocki (c. 1481–1551) was the protoplast of the magnate line of the Potocki family.

Potocki Aleksander (1776-1845) - w młodości został zmuszony do emigracji, po II zaborze Polski. Mieszkał kolejno w Dreźnie, Lipsku i Karlsbadzie. Przebywając w latach 1802-3 w Anglii zainteresował się architekturą, zwłaszcza pałacową i ogrodową.
