Georg Michaelis (8 September 1857 – 24 July 1936) was the chancellor of the German Empire for a few months in 1917. He was the first (and the only one of the German Empire) chancellor not of noble birth to hold the office.

Georg Michaelis was a Prussian civil servant who became the German chancellor in 1917, but resigned after a few weeks due to conflicts with Reichstag parties. He also played a key role in the war food economy and the peace negotiations, and later became a senior president of Pomerania.
