  4. 26 apr 2022 · Diana Beauclerk, Duchess of St Albans (c. 1679–15 January 1742) was born Lady Diana de Vere, the daughter of the Aubrey de Vere, 20th Earl of Oxford and Diana Kirke. On 17 April 1694, she married the 1st Duke of St Albans, an illegitimate son of King Charles II and his mistress Nell Gwynne, whereupon Diana became Duchess of St Albans.
