Arthur Joseph Goldberg (August 8, 1908 – January 19, 1990) was an American statesman and jurist who served as the 9th U.S. Secretary of Labor, an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, and the 6th United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

Arthur J. Goldberg (born Aug. 8, 1908, Chicago, Ill., U.S.—died Jan. 19, 1990, Washington, D.C.) was a labour lawyer who served as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court (1962–65) and U.S. representative to the United Nations (1965–68).

Goldberg became a prominent labor lawyer, representing striking Chicago newspaper workers on behalf of the CIO in 1938. He served in the Office of Strategic Services as a contact with the European underground labor movement during World War II.
