Seti I (anche Menmaatra; in greco antico: Σεθῶν?, Sethôn) (1324 a.C. circa – 30 maggio 1279 a.C.) è stato un faraone della XIX dinastia egizia. Come tutte le date dell'antico Egitto, così anche quelle che concernono Seti I non godono di un'interpretazione univoca.
Menmaatre Seti I (or Sethos I in Greek) was the second pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt during the New Kingdom period, ruling c. 1294 or 1290 BC to 1279 BC. He was the son of Ramesses I and Sitre, and the father of Ramesses II.

28 nov 2022 · La tomba di Seti I, all’interno della Valle dei Re, è lunga circa 130 m, rendendola così la più lunga di tutta la necropoli. Al suo interno erano presenti rilievi e decori, splendidi e ancora oggi ben conservati. La sua struttura, inoltre, presenta ben 11 camere e stanze secondarie laterali.
