12 ott 2023 · Professor Dame Averil Mansfield CBE has won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards. Averil, who was presented with the award at a star-studded ceremony this week, worked at St Mary’s Hospital as a vascular surgeon from 1982 to 2022 and became the first female professor of surgery in the UK in 1993.
