Igor' Evgen'evič Tamm in russo Игорь Евгеньевич Тамм? (Vladivostok, 8 luglio 1895 – Mosca, 12 aprile 1971) è stato un fisico russo. Studiò all'università di Mosca dove si laureò in fisica nel 1918.

I gor Yevgenyevich Tamm was born in Vladivostok on July 8, 1895, as the son of Evgenij Tamm, an engineer, and Olga Davydova. He graduated from Moscow State University in 1918, specializing in physics, and immediately commenced an academic career in institutes of higher learning.

Tamm was one of the theoretical physicists who contributed to the construction of the first Soviet thermonuclear.
