Come Back, Lucy. First edition (publ. Hamish Hamilton) "Come Back, Lucy" (retitled Mirror of Danger in the US) was a story written by author Pamela Sykes in 1973. In 1978, it served as the basis of Come Back Lucy, a British television show produced by ATV. [1] [2]
When her Aunt Olive dies, Lucy is taken in by her kindly aunt (Phyllida Law) and uncle (Royce Mills) but cannot stand the modern reality of her three high-spirited cousins – Rachel (Oona Kirsch), Patrick (Russell Lewis) and Bill (François Evans) – finding them brash and uncouth.
After the sudden death of her devoted Aunt Olive, young country-girl Lucy has to start a new life wtih relatives in London. She does her best to adjust, but strange things start to happen in their old Victorian house...
