Matthew Henry (Broad Oak, Flintshire, 18 ottobre 1662 – Nantwich, 22 giugno 1714), fu un ministro presbiteriano inglese e un riconosciuto studioso commentatore della Bibbia.
Matthew Henry (18 October 1662 – 22 June 1714) was a British Nonconformist minister and author who was born in Wales but spent much of his life in England. He is best known for the six-volume biblical commentary Exposition of the Old and New Testaments.

He was a prolific writer, most famous for his Commentary on the Whole Bible which he began in November of 1704 and left incomplete upon his death. Ministerial colleagues concluded the work with reference to his notes and writings (Henry had finished the commentary from Genesis through Acts).
