  1. The Visitors' Entrance on New College Lane. Directions to New College Visitors' Entrance from Radcliffe Square. Meet the team. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a member of our Visitor Liaison team - John, Paula, Nigel, or Lily (pictured below).

  2. On arrival please make yourself known to the Porters at the New College Lane entrance (March to October, 11am to 5pm) or at the Holywell Street Lodge at other times. Please do show your Oxford Alumni Card (see below).

  3. Tourist Visitors. If you are visiting the College as a tourist, please use the entrance on New College Lane. This is the original entrance to the College, dating from our foundation in the 14th century.

  4. During the summer season (from mid-March to mid-October) entry is via New College Lane gate and during the winter season entry is via the Holywell Street entrance. Like other colleges at Oxford, New College is occasionally closed to the public for university events.

  5. Open: March to early October - Open 11am until 5pm (last admission: 4.45pm). £3 entry fee; £2 concessions. Access via New College Lane. Admission includes free map and guide.

  6. Access for visitors is through the New College Lane gate from Easter to early October, and via the Holywell St entrance otherwise.
