Mark Baker (born 8 April 1959 in London) is an English animator and producer whose works include the Academy Award-nominated short films The Hill Farm (1988), The Village (1993) and Jolly Roger (1998). He is also known for co-creating Peppa Pig (2004–2023) and Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom (2009–2013) with Neville Astley.

Mark Fredric Baker (October 2, 1946 – August 13, 2018) was an American actor. He was best known for the title role in Harold Prince's revival of Candide, for which he received a Tony Award nomination, and his portrayal of Otto Kringelein in the international tour of Grand Hotel.

The Village. The film is set in a small, isolated village where everyone has something to hide. Th e villagers spend about half their time trying to find out their neighbours’ secrets and the other half trying to preserve their own. One villager seems to have no interest in this way of life, and is considered an outsider.
