Steven John Lindsey Croft (born 29 May 1957) is a British bishop in the Church of England and a theologian specialising in mission. He has been Bishop of Oxford since the confirmation of his election on 6 July 2016.

Biography. Steven Croft was born in Halifax in 1957 and attended Sunday School each week from a young age, which is where his faith was nurtured. He attended a diocesan youth weekend at 15 years old and it was there that he invited Jesus into his life: “the faith of those around me became my own, and I had a deep sense of God’s call on my life”.
The Bishop of Oxford is the diocesan bishop of the Church of England Diocese of Oxford in the Province of Canterbury; his seat is at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. The current bishop is Steven Croft, following the confirmation of his election to the See on 6 July 2016.
