Claude Henri Jean Chabrol (French: [klod ʃabʁɔl]; 24 June 1930 – 12 September 2010) was a French film director and a member of the French New Wave (nouvelle vague) group of filmmakers who first came to prominence at the end of the 1950s.
Claude Chabrol è stato un regista, sceneggiatore, attore e critico cinematografico francese. È considerato, insieme a Truffaut, Godard, Rivette, Rohmer, uno dei padri fondatori della Nouvelle Vague.
Matthieu Chabrol (Parigi, 21 dicembre 1956) è un compositore francese di colonne sonore cinematografiche. Figlio del regista Claude Chabrol e Agnès Goute, ha collaborato spesso con il padre di cui ha composto le colonne sonore di numerosi suoi film.
