Since that inaugural class of 1980, West Point women have served as the surgeon general of the Army, dean of academics at West Point, and the commandant of cadets at West Point. Younger generations of women who graduated from West Point continue to shape the Army today.
24 mar 2022 · Academic Year 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-2023 saw Reilly McGinnis, Holland Pratt and Lauren Drysdale lead the corps, respectfully, marking the first time in West Point's illustrious history that consecutive women were named the leader of the Corps of Cadets.

7 lug 2021 · On October 7, 1975, President Gerald R. Ford signed Public Law 94-106 ( 89 Stat. 531) allowing women to be admitted to the all-male military colleges, and on July 7, 1976, 119 women made history becoming the first females join the Corps of Cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
