13 feb 2013 · A shout always has words or at least one word, e.g "Hey!" People shout when they are angry or simply want to be heard in a noisy environment or at a distance. It is very unusual to hear a man scream in my experience. If a man screams he is feeling great pain or fear. Young children scream a lot when they are playing.

Shout is slightly metaphoric, it can stand for both an idea and an action (say if Arsenal did actually get the player it could stil be decsribed as a great shout). The endorsement is both for the person who had the idea and the idea itself.

First, you have to change the word order, because loudly/strongly etc. positioned at the end of the sentence could describe the shouting or the stopping, especially strongly. 21 set 2006 · La seule raison pour laquelle j'ai proposé "tiens moi au jus" se trouve dans le premier post: give me a shout. i.e. so if you're interested give us a shout. it means let me know, or contact me...but it's a lot funner than saying "let me know". J'ai donc cherché une manière de dire cela dans le bon registre de langue.
