12 mar 2015 · The mystery of Suzanne Farrington. It was with sadness that I learned last week of the death of Suzanne Farrington, Vivien Leigh’s only child. She passed away presumably at home in Lower Zeals, Wiltshire, of unstated causes at age 81. Many people know of her, but few outside her family and immediate circle seem to know much about her.

3 gen 2014 · Suzanne Farrington is Vivien Leigh’s daughter by her first husband Herbert Leigh Holman. VL was very young when she married him I think he was quite a lot older than VL when they married. I don’t know that much about Gertrude Hartley but I do know some information about her glamour business.
6 dic 2013 · The Vivien Leigh archive contains letters from Beatrice “Bumble” Dawson, who designed the general costumes for The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone, as well as Messel, and Roger Furse, who was close with both her and Olivier. Furse would sometimes sketch pictures on the backs of the letters he sent to the Oliviers.

While helping a good friend sort through some of the vintage magazines in his collection recently, I spotted this unique article in a 1958 issue of the The Tatler & Bystander, a weekly magazine catering mostly to upper-middle class and wealthy British women.
