Florian Zeller est un écrivain, scénariste et réalisateur français, né le 28 juin 1979 [1] à Paris. Il est, selon L'Express, « le meilleur dramaturge français, avec Yasmina Reza » [2] ; selon The Guardian, il est « l'auteur de théâtre le plus passionnant de notre époque » [3], [4].

The Father is a 2020 psychological drama film, directed by Florian Zeller in his directorial debut. He co-wrote the screenplay with fellow playwright Christopher Hampton on the basis of Zeller's 2012 play Le Père. A French-British co-production, the film stars Anthony Hopkins as an octogenarian Welsh man living with dementia.
