He is best known for his starring role as Jack Bauer [4] in the Fox drama series 24 (2001–2010, 2014), for which he won an Emmy Award , a Golden Globe Award , two Screen Actors Guild Awards , and two Satellite Awards .

Kiefer Sutherland is a British-Canadian actor who has starred or played prominent roles in various films and television series over the course of several decades, including Stand by Me, The Lost Boys, Young Guns, Flatliners, A Few Good Men, Dark City and most notably Jack Bauer in the Fox drama series 24.
Kiefer got his first film role in the comedy drama Max Dugan Returns (1983). Sutherland's first major role was in the Canadian drama The Bay Boy (1984), which earned Sutherland and director Daniel Petrie, Genie award nominations for best actor and best director, respectively.
