He is one of the most respected electronic artists from the Eastern European region and one of the pioneer producers to introduce Balkan ethnic sounds to the modern electronic music production. Kiril is also an accomplished composer of film and theatre music.
The music for the film was composed by Kiril Džajkovski. Principal photography took place in a number of countries and locations, including Cologne, New York City, Mariovo and Bitola. Release. Dust opened at the Venice Film Festival on 29 August 2001 and was later released in Italy on 5 April 2002.

Bastion ( Macedonian: Бастион) was a Yugoslav synth-pop band formed in Skopje in 1983. They were a prominent act of the 1980s Yugoslav rock scene . The band was formed by keyboardist Kiril Džajkovski, vocalist Ana Kostovska and bass guitarist Ljubomir Stojsavljević.
