Since 2001, 24 has aired a total of 216 episodes, counting the original eight seasons (2001 – 2010), the limited series 24: Live Another Day (2014), and the 2017 spin-off 24: Legacy. In addition, the TV movie 24: Redemption, originally aired in November 2008, was produced as a prequel to the seventh season. Each episode originally aired on the Fox network in the United States.
For many later seasons, short "mini-episode" features were produced to act as either prologues or epilogues to the story, which were featured on their respective home video sets.
