Paws or Paws, the Husky is the current mascot of the Northeastern University Huskies. Northeastern debuted the Siberian husky as the school's official mascot and school's nickname on March 4, 1927.
Northeastern University (NU or NEU) is a private research university with its main campus in Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1898, it was founded by the Boston Young Men's Christian Association as an all-male institute before being incorporated as Northeastern College in 1916, gaining university status in 1922.

Paws has been seen alongside the Northeastern University Police Department dog Cooper, in TikToks and at almost every sporting event.

29 lug 2010 · Northeastern adopted the nickname Huskies in 1927 and the first Husky appeared on campus on March 4 of that year. He had come to Boston’s North Station by train from Alaska and was greeted by more than 1,000 students and the University band.
