Stacey Bess (born October 16, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American author and educator, known for authoring the memoir Nobody Don't Love Nobody, which was made into a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie in 2011 called "Beyond the Blackboard."

About Beyond the Blackboard. When Stacey Bess gets her first teaching job, it’s not at all what she expected. She’s assigned to the School with No Name in Salt Lake City, a space in a homeless shelter that is supposed to function as a classroom.
Based on a true story, Beyond the Blackboard chronicles young Stacey confronting her own fears and insecurities as she struggles to gain attention and respect from her students. She must also win over school board administrators and apprehensive parents.
