  2. Website. www .dauntseys .org. Dauntsey's School is a public school ( fee-charging boarding and day school) for pupils aged 11–18 in the village of West Lavington, Wiltshire, England. The school was founded in 1542 in accordance with the will of William Dauntesey, a master of the Worshipful Company of Mercers .

  6. Location. The school is set in an estate of more than 150 acres, in the picturesque Vale of Pewsey, five miles south of the historic market town of Devizes. There is easy access by road, with Bath, Salisbury, Swindon and junction 17 of the M4 within about 40 minutes; Stonehenge lies a few miles south on the A303.
