Frank Joseph Whaley (born July 20, 1963) is an American actor, film director, screenwriter, and comedian. His roles include Brett in Pulp Fiction, Robby Krieger in The Doors, young Archie "Moonlight" Graham in Field of Dreams, and Guy in Swimming with Sharks.
He is best known for the films Pulp Fiction (1994) and Swimming with Sharks (1994), and has worked with Oliver Stone multiple times. His feature directorial debut, Joe the King (1999), earned him the Waldo Salt Screenwriting prize at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival. He was born in Syracuse, New York, and resides in New York City.

Whaley si diplomò nel 1981 e lasciò casa a 18 anni, laureandosi poi all'università di Albany. Ha debuttato al cinema nel 1987 nel film Ironweed nella parte di un giovane Jack Nicholson . Ha poi lavorato in film quali Pulp Fiction , The Doors e L'uomo dei sogni .
