LazyTown ( Icelandic: Latibær) is an English-language Icelandic preschool children's educational television series created by aerobics champion Magnús Scheving. [1] . The show was designed to encourage healthy lifestyles. The series was based on Scheving's stage plays Áfram Latibær! (itself adapted from a book that Scheving wrote in 1991). [2]
With Lorraine Parsloe, Magnús Scheving, Stefán Karl Stefánsson, Julianna Rose Mauriello. A pink-haired girl named Stephanie moves to LazyTown with her uncle (the mayor of said town) where she tries to teach its extremely lazy residents that physical activity is beneficial.

LazyTown is an Icelandic television show created by Magnús Scheving for Nickelodeon. The series stars Stephanie, a young girl who has just moved to a community called LazyTown to live with her uncle, Mayor Meanswell. There, she meets a group of friends— Ziggy, Trixie, Pixel and Stingy —who do not know how to lead healthy lifestyles.

The show has its roots in a storybook published in 1995, which was adapted into two stage performances and a test pilot.
