Pontifical University of the Holy Cross ( Latin: Pontificia Universitas Sanctae Crucis, Italian: Pontificia Università della Santa Croce) is a Roman Catholic university under the Curial Congregation for Catholic Education, now entrusted to the Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei, or more commonly called Opus Dei.

The Pontifical University of the Holy Cross is currently comprised of the Schools of Theology, Canon Law, Philosophy, and Church Communications; the Higher Institute of Religious Studies “all’Apollinare” (ISSRA) is also an essential element.
Profile. Mission. The Pontifical University of the Holy Cross was born from the desire of St. Josemaría Escrivá, Founder of Opus Dei, to create a center of higher ecclesiastical studies in Rome at the service of the whole Church.
La Pontificia Università della Santa Croce è attualmente costituita dalle Facoltà di Teologia, Diritto Canonico, Filosofia e Comunicazione Sociale Istituzionale; ne è parte essenziale anche l’Istituto Superiore di Scienze Religiose all’Apollinare.
La Pontificia Università della Santa Croce (Pontificia Universitas Sanctae Crucis / PUSC) è un'università pontificia con sede a Roma. Promossa dalla Prelatura della Santa Croce e Opus Dei [1] , è stata eretta formalmente con decreto della Congregazione per l'Educazione Cattolica il 9 gennaio 1990 .
