Sarah Michelle Gellar (New York, 14 aprile 1977) è un'attrice, produttrice televisiva e imprenditrice statunitense. Vincitrice di un Emmy Award per il ruolo di Kendall Hart nella soap opera La valle dei pini , è nota a livello mondiale per aver interpretato Buffy Summers nella serie cult Buffy l'ammazzavampiri , dal 1997 al 2003.
Gellar achieved international recognition for her portrayal of Buffy Summers on the WB/UPN series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), which earned her a Saturn Award, and nominations for a Golden Globe and a TCA Award.
