Christopher Thomas James Chessun (born 5 August 1956) is a British Anglican bishop. Since 2011, he has been Bishop of Southwark in the Church of England.
The Rt Revd Christopher Chessun was enthroned at Southwark Cathedral on 6 March 2011 as the 10th Bishop of Southwark. The Diocesan Secretary is the lead officer within the Diocesan administrative structure to help serve the parishes and people of the Diocese.
The Lord Bishop of Southwark's full title is The Rt Rev. the Lord Bishop of Southwark. His name is Christopher Thomas James Chessun, and he is a current member of the House of Lords.

4 apr 2023 · The Bishop of Southwark, The Rt Revd Christopher Chessun, in consultation with the Chair of the Diocesan Board of Finance, Sir David Beamish, has appointed Nicola Thomas as Diocesan Secretary. Nicola will succeed Ruth Martin, who announced her retirement earlier this year.
