Currents provides a return to Eisley's original fantastical themes, but now captured through a more musically mature lens. The underwater cover artwork and trio of water-themed tracks to open suggest somewhat of a siren song motif via dream pop delivery, but the theme is dropped quickly for a less successful mixed bag.
