Desire Wire is the debut album by singer-songwriter and musician Cindy Bullens, released in 1978 on United Artists Records. It was produced by Tony Bongiovi and Lance Quinn. AllMusic's William Ruhlmann calls it "one of the great lost rock albums of the '70s".

Desire Wire is an album that reflects many of her Grease roots as a singer/songwriter and a soulful rock icon. This collection of songs has more hooks than a fisherman's cap. There are several hard rockin' tunes, i.e. Survivor, High School History, and Finally Rockin' most noticeably.

1978–1979: Desire Wire and Steal the Night. Bullens' 1978 debut album Desire Wire, was released on United Artists. For the single "Survivor", Bullens earned a Grammy nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. In January 1979, Bullens entered the Billboard Hot 100 with the song "Trust Me". It peaked at No. 90.
