George Alex Katunich (born August 18, 1976) is an American musician. He is best known as the founding bassist of the Californian band Incubus. He left the band in 2003. [2] Since high school, Katunich has used the stage name of Dirk Lance .
Dirk Lance, a founding member of Incubus who co-wrote and performed on the famed rock band’s hit albums, S.C.I.E.N.C.E., Make Yourself, and Morning View, and was a force behind the group’s biggest songs “Drive,” “Pardon Me,” and “Wish You Were Here.”
