L'electric blues (o blues elettrico), è un sottogenere della musica blues che racchiude tutti gli stili di blues suonati con strumenti amplificati. Precursore del genere è stato il texano T-Bone Walker, trasferitosi poi a Los Angeles, che verso al fine degli anni trenta combinò il blues con elementi jazz e R&B.
