Georg Jacoby, all'anagrafe Georg Gustav Franz Jacoby, (Magonza, 21 luglio 1882 – Monaco di Baviera, 21 febbraio 1964), è stato un regista, sceneggiatore e produttore cinematografico tedesco. Talvolta, usò anche il nome George Jacoby.
Biography. Jacoby was born in Mainz, Germany, the son of Wilhelm Jacoby (1855-1925), a German comedic playwright, who concentrated largely on creating farces, such as The Duchess of Athens (1883) and Pension Schöller (1890), which he co-authored with Carl Laufs.

Georg Jacoby was an actor, film and theatre director. He started to play on stage in 1915 and in cinema in WWI propaganda films. After 1919, he was only a film director. In 1922, he made So sind die Männer (1923) ("The Little Napoleon"), in which Marlene Dietrich had a bit part.
