28 gen 2021 · Born in 1757 at Althorp House, Georgiana Spencer (nicknamed Gee) was the first child of John Spencer, who later became the 1st Earl Spencer, and his wife Georgiana, later, Countess Spencer. She had two younger siblings, Henrietta and George.
Biography Georgiana Spencer was born on June 9, 1757, the eldest of three children of Georgiana (Poyntz) (1738-1814) and her husband John Spencer (1734-83), created 1st Earl Spencer in 1765. From an early age she attracted notice for her naturally vivacious personality and charming lack of affectation.
Henrietta Ponsonby, Countess of Bessborough (16 June 1761 – 11 November 1821), born Lady Henrietta Frances Spencer (generally called Harriet), was the wife of Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Earl of Bessborough; the couple were the parents of Lady Caroline Lamb.
