Summer Learning. Each year during spring, students and families start planning for summer and look to register in the Vancouver School District’s Summer Learning Program to access a wide range of courses. Killarney is the largest secondary school in Vancouver by area, and a comprehensive school currently with around 2,000 students in Grades 8–12 with 167 teaching and non-teaching staff. Extra-curricular activities are abundant, with more than 35 clubs and a full inter-high school sports program.

Killarney Secondary is a multicultural school of 2000 students and more than 100 teachers. It is the largest high school in the Vancouver School District. The school has had 57 graduating classes, including the 2017 grads.
