Robert Stone comes to England to find his brother Jim who has disappeared after attending a costume party at the estate of Jonathon Lanceford, the overprotective guardian of young Dominie. Stone pretends to get into the house to interrogate the young lady, but Dominie is very evasive and claims Jim has left her.
