Lúnasa is a traditional Irish music group, named after Lughnasadh, an ancient harvest festival. They tour and perform internationally, and have recorded a number of albums of both traditional and contemporary Irish instrumental music.

25 lug 2023 · Lughnasadh can be written in more than one way. It is written as “Lùnastal” in Scottish Gaelic, but as “Lúnasa” in Modern Irish. Lammas is the name of the Christian Holiday that is celebrated to mark the harvest. This comes from the Old English word “hlaf-maesse”, which means “loaf mass”.
